Investigators seized more than 120 terabytes of child sex abuse material from a residence in Northern California on Thursday, according to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.

The operation, conducted by the sheriff’s office in collaboration with Solano County Probation and the Vacaville Police Department, also led to the confiscation of more than 20 computers, a server and multiple anti-forensic and hacking tools at the home in Vallejo.

“To put the amount of data in perspective. 1 TB of data is roughly 120 hours of HD video,” the sheriff’s office said on Facebook.

The investigation stemmed from a prior Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Street sweep, an ongoing effort to combat sexual assault crimes.

Following this case, the sheriff’s office announced Monday that its Investigations Bureau has begun conducting Internet Crimes Against Children cases with a full-time investigator.

Authorities have not released further details about potential arrests or charges related to the case.

Investigators did not respond immediately to an NBC News request for comment.
